In 2014, Zhongnan Group took the lead in establishing a presence in the Qianhai Free Trade Zone by initiating the founding of Shenzhen Qianhai Green Transportation Company. The company exclusively operates new energy electric vehicles in the Qianhai area, actively implementing President Xi Jinping's directive that “the Qianhai Dream is part of the Chinese Dream.” It is committed to building the nation's first low-carbon, zero-emission travel demonstration zone and a model for smart transportation development.
At the same time, Zhongnan proactively upgraded its entire fleet of fuel-powered taxis ahead of schedule. After the update, the company now operates nearly 4,000 fully electric taxis, making it one of the world's largest electric taxi operators. This initiative reduces carbon dioxide emissions by over 100,000 tons annually, making a significant contribution to the city's green development.
